What is OPnPW?Short & Simple:OPnPW is a multi-user chat client that supports user created rooms. Its designed so that you can play your favorite Pen & Paper RPGS over the internet, with all the tools you'd have at the tabletop, and some you don't traditionally have. Why is it better then AIM, or IRC, or ETC? Well, OPnPW is going to be an integrated chat client, dedicated to this use. You won't have to find add-ons or bots or such to add features you need. Things such as dice and character sheets are all integrated; you don't have to bother with 3rd party add-ons. Furthermore, since it is a dedicated client, you'll be part of a dedicated community, with forums and resources geared solely towards gaming and RPGs. You won't have to worry about some other aspect getting in the way. It's also completely free, unlike some competing products that just allow players to game for free, or are trials. OPnPW is completely free, and will remain as such for as long as humanly possible, which as it is now, is forever. If you're at all interested in OPnPW, give the program a download. It's free and chances are you'll have fun and meet some new people. So, what are some of those extra tools that AIM/IRC/ETC Don't provide? First and foremost, you're going to get integrated dice with modifiers. So you'll be able to just roll say 4d6+2, without adding any bots or third party addons. Furthermore you're going to have access to a virtual whiteboard, advanced logging, encounter tables, private & public games, image sending/reciever* [that will work behind firewalls and proxies], character sheets*, and many more. How many services provide all that for free? Where do I get it?
