Hey all, just checking in with old friends of the highest importance to see where everyone is in life. lol. Hope we can get an update on ma main man Brad, and see where he is in life. I know you've all done great things with the years since DnDonline was up, and then down, and Brad saved us all. anyways, i'll start.

I've done a lot, been a lot of places. Last update i was a truck driver, had a major accident 9-27-2007. left trucking in december, went to work as tech support at acer in temple texas, left there in march to go back to trucking (was just taking a break due to the accident) and worked there for a little over a year. lost my job in may of 09 due to a complete dickhead named larry luke falsely accusing me of being an unsafe driver. got hired at Gamexchange in killeen in june, was there a month before becoming assistant manager. a month later i was store manager. a month after that area manager over 2 stores lol. all was good in the neighborhood, despite 60 hour workweeks, and scheduling problems with employees and such, until january 2010. my mother was on hospice care since november, her condition had deteriorated to the point of passing, i requested a week to two weeks for me to be there for her passing (as well as being her primary caregiver) but was denied. I quit the job and told the bitch over me to go fuck herself. my mother passed away 1 week later. in march of 2010 i rejoined the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and remain there today. In August of 2010 my father passed away of cancer. I've missed you all greatly, and hope to hear from you, good or bad, know that my thoughts and prayers frequently center on the wonderful friends I found while trying to find a good RPG to play online.

*this post has been posted without any paragraph formatting because that's my style, hope it irritates some of you enough to make you respond lol.*

I'm torn between commenting

I'm torn between commenting on how much of a douche you are for knowingly posting such a difficult to read post due to lack of formatting, or offering my sympathies for your parents.

It appears I've already done both. And it appears you've successfully VICTIMIZED!! us all. hahaha.

I have no idea when the last any of you have heard an update about me. I'm still in London, ON, which most of you should know, or at least that general area. I've been working at a call centre for just shy of 4 years - spent most of the last 8 months working as an RTM and just recently got a contract for damage claims coordinator, which is a big promotion. Simply put, I'm basically a CSI for tow related damage.

I do not remember the last time I played D&D, though I have played Saberized versions of it, and more recently Pathfinder (which is what 4E should have been). I've also become enamored with Shadowrun. I've all but abandoned PC gaming and have moved on to the Xbox 360. Battlefield 3 looks sexy enough for me to invest in a new video card, and will do so closer to when it comes out.

So...I am still alive. I

So...I am still alive. I snagged my degree about two years ago, been working in accounting support for the last year or so along with some other activities, I don't program as much anymore but do dabble in electronics still.

Haven't played a pen and paper RPG in probably 4 years now, which is a shame.

I don't monitor this site very much, I turned off new user registration but I did see the post come up in RSS and flagged it to follow up.

There are some interesting things that have happened, not much that can be placed online or not publicly. But there is always Facebook and email.

I added a subdomain to opnpw.com, and eventually OPnPW will just re-direct to a sub-page of that. I complete about half a page a month though, so no rush.

So thats me, sorry to hear of your loss Clay. I'm glad both of you poke in from time to time though.

>oooh it's tux

>get him

>me get him?

>are you insane?

Definitely need to put my RSS

Definitely need to put my RSS box for opnpw higher up on my google page so I see it more often.

I'm still around as well! You guys should jump on my teamspeak 3 server and chat with the NJ crew!

We've actually been toying with the idea of playing a game on TS3. It's always decently populated and there's lots of healthy banter.

the ts address is ts.knightsofrapture.com and the password is joelikesmen, I own the server and it's kindly hiding in my office with some nasty fast internet directly hooked into it.

I miss you guys and the old days of opnpw a lot. Things were so much easier and fun back then. Clay, I'm so sorry about your parents. My mom passed away from Leukemia last june, I know what you're going through. I think you have my contact info, keep in touch more often! I promise I won't hang up this time, I've already beaten Kingdom Hearts :p

Glad to hear you're all still around and chugging along!! I'm a professional hacker now :D most of my job isn't hacking though, it's just running tests and overloading IT stuff. I did have the pleasure of getting flown into the heart of cisco a few months ago to test a a 10 gigabit switch with 120 nanosecond latency. That was kind of cool I guess.

What's up, guys? Clay, I am

What's up, guys? Clay, I am very sorry to hear about your loss. That 'bitch over [you]' when you were area manager sounds like a piece of work.

I am still in the DC area, though I recently moved out of the district to Arlington. Getting married soon in Argentina, if the god damn Argentine wedding industry people learn how to not be incompetent and flaky. If planning issues don't work themselves out, will be getting married here in Arlington.

Just started my third year of law school at Georgetown. Since the 'sell your soul' track effectively disappeared with all the jobs in the legal industry, I had the benefit of spending my summer internships running a new civil legal services clinic in DC.

Unless I suddenly find 'public defender' very appealing, the plan is to graduate, pass the bar, and run the legal clinic I interned at for a couple years helping homeless, impoverished, immigrants, etc. Also trying to get a position in the consumer finance protection bureau but so is every other unemployed law graduate haha.

Until graduation... just studying more than is comfortable and trying to finish the final track-organization and recording for my upcoming mixtape.

Haven't played pen and paper RPGs since college began in 2005, except for a failed summer campaign that lasted two sessions.

Word to that and good times past. shanakol@gmail.com me if you want to get in contact. I only look in Opnpw regularly for a month or two at a time before it slips my mind. But yeah.
