Request: IM like feature

I don't think I saw this and I don't know the code off hand, but my request is:

The product will have an icon in the tool tray at the bottom right hand corner of the screen and on a change of state the icon flashes.

a la Yahoo/ICQ is you have a message in a chat room you don't have as the active window, it flashes or does the annoying uh-oh sound. This may be very difficult code, I'm not sure, but I'll put in the request anyway.

[color=darkred]I don't know, but I think the program, at one point at least, flashed orange if something new appeared. I don't believe it ever worked right though.

I too would like to see this feature implemented. At the very least, when in games it'd 'gently' remind players that they're still playing a game.[/color]

I am supporting this idea as well. Many times I have been away using instant messengers expecting opnpw screen to flash once someone speaks. I think it's really a neat feature that could help out players/dms from getting distracted while playing/running games.

I have something better actually. If your OPNPW goes idle for too long, and you receive a message, a little window will appear in the lower left hand corner, with the message. This will happen for all PMs, if your copy of opnpw is just minimized.

Yes.. and a "Wake Up" option which allows DMs to send a PM to all players saying "Wake Up" at the click of the button (this way they wont have to send individual PMs)... could give it that annoying "bloop" sound some pop ups have.. hehe
