Treasure Generator

See, the DMG has a really large chart which can generate a pretty decent treasure hoard. There are also a few other sources that have 'add-on' tables to generate an even more diverse hoard.

What I could do is work with you to combine these charts and such and turn it into a random treasure gen that's built right into OPnPW! Hell, you could even make it a 'stand-alone' application that's included in the OPnPW installer, so you don't even need OPnPW running to generate a treasure.

The generated hoard would be displayed in a window which could then be saved into a .txt file by the simple click of the button.

What do you think Tux? I'm sure it'd be a lot of work, but damn that'd be a nice application!

A good idea, but you could in fact implement this using the encounter tables. One table for the intended values, such as "1d4 gems", and then a correspdong gem table. It just requires some ingenuity, I think OPnPW ships with an example treasure table. I'll make one up later and show you.

Now I do like the idea of a seperate app, but why reinvent the wheel if we can make use of something that is a bit..underused as is.

Perhaps I should overhaul the encounter tables, donno. Input?
