Okay, I've noticed people mention places they'd like to join a game of some sort, so listen up fellow DMs and Players! Thi's thread is gonna be a listing of whose recruting, who isnt, and when most likely the campaigns are running. I think this would be an excellent resource for a player looking for a DM as well as DMs looking for players. Also note that 'solo campaigns' can be listed too (solo as in one player only, or a dm dming multiple folks in one campaign world), so everyone knows what's going on on any given day. Also please list campaign even if your not recruiting.

[color=red]"Campaign for thieves"/City of splendors presented by Thrynexx_the-songmaster and Archdevil[/color]
Description: This adventure primarily takes place in Waterdeep in the North of the Faerun, thus a forgotten realms setting. The adventures will be rogue focused though not exclusively. Swashbucklers, Mages, bards, bounty hunters, relic hunters and buccaneers can all fit in well to this campaign.
The mark will be to design approximately half the adventures based on rogish activity, a quarter on mystery/intrigue/sociopolitical and a quarter on relic hunting including sea and jungle type settings.
The large city setting offers plenty of adventuring opportunities, many which are more exotic then the typical dungeon setting. social interaction, persona, inquisitive skills, and characterization can all be exemplified with ease here. Mix that in withrival thieves guilds, disguised mages, political upstarts, charlatans, dopplegangers, secret guild wars, and palace intrigues...well you can see all the tales to be sung
The game will be played using D&D 3.5. We can help players get up to speed.
Recruiting at least one more player, maybe more depending on submissions and present player turnout.

The players will be a group of mercenaries traveling all over the world. They get wrapped up in the war between the City Alliance and the State.

Description: The world is in it's ninth age -- the prophecized age of destruction. Cults to an evil dual god of destruction, pestilence, death, and disaster are fumbling for an artifact of great power to waken their god, Diiar, from its cursed sleep. An artifact both blessing and bane to the holder. The world waits on the edge of a razor's blade, and perhaps only a party of adventurerers working for the just cause can save it...
Version/Game: Dungeons and Dragons 3.5
Recruiting: At least 4 dedicated players (emphasis on dedicated!), for latenight sessions.
----Statistics: +10 modifiers, at least one stat below ten, lowest stat a 6, highest stat an 18 max (at least to start)
----Character Creation: 1st level, 90 gold for equipment etc. Will require a detailed background for your character as well as a brief personality overview (the basics, details can be fleshed out in game), if it helps you for personality two or three words to describe your character (such as 'noble savage' etc, this part is more for your use than mine).
----Prohibitions: No half-breeds (half elves and half orcs), no monstrous races. Core classes only please (special situations may change this dependant upon character personality). Alignments limited to LG, NG, LN.

Schedule: Generally when Pheenyx doesn't have work, possibly 2 games a week. Due to days off, possibility of weekdays or weekends fairly equal. Games starting as soon as possible and running as late as possible. This is a fairly latenight game... as games can go until as late (or as early) as 4-5 am PT if there is player suppourt.
Other: Restarting the campaign due to nonplayer suppourt. [b]This is not hackenslash.[/b] You can expect entire games to go by where you dont actually have to fight. Expect a great deal of roleplaying and dialogue. Please also read through the worldsettings on the website. (And the Journal o Rynvan Tygh, it may be good to read it before you get it in-game). This is also a newbie friendly game for those of you that are new to OPNPW. Currently ovehauling its cosmology to remove completely the PHB dieties. PM me for more information.

Description: The game will be in the Forgotten Realms (Faerun) and the game will be more of a free style, not a direct quest immeditally at hand.

I love a good hackenslash but that dosent mean I dont like a good story. I really enjoy a good balanced mixture of the two.

Time: The best time for me to play would be on the weekends during the afternoon or evenings since at this time I live in a University dorm and during the weekends the place can get really slow. I will also play weekday evenings but I won't want to stay up through all hours of the night. I Cannot under any circumstance play on Tuesday nights due to classes AND I like to go out on Friday and Saturday nights so those are off limits as well.
Type of Campaign: I am looking of a campaign that has strong roleplaying elements but also a good deal of excitement and adventure. I am not completely against hack'n'slash type games but I much perfer RP. Obviously since I want to play D&D I'd like to play in a classical fantasy setting such as the Forgotten Realms.

Schedule/Availability: Right now, I'm availible at anytime. Come january though, my schedule is going to change a little. Currently, I have a game on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night right now, So any other night is good, or if it must be on the same night then we can try to work something out? I'm in Central timezone (US&Canada, GMT-6:00, daylight savings).
Preferred game style: Anything, I just want it to be fun, I like a wide variety of things, for games to be mixed between politics and violence, as well as explorer venues areas, and things like that. Just a mix of everything would be good, but I'd play any one style.
Experience: I am a beginner still with D&D, but I've been playing Vampire, Werewolf, and other White Wolf games for well over 7 years. Even getting into the new ones coming out like, Requiem and Forsaken and such. If it's a new system, I might need a little help, but I can usually figure things out on my own, other than that I'm cool. I'm getting the hang of D&D now.
Other: Not to sound conceded or anything, but I'm a good roleplayer and I love table top games, though everything except for White Wolf, I'm pretty new at and getting the hang of, so if you want me to try a new system out then I expect some slack and patience cause I'm not going to just learn it over night. I'm not a supergenius or anything. At most I need a week, I say that because I have to actually get the books required for the system first, and then read them over, it could take longer than that but you get the point. I'm pretty open minded about everything, and I'm willing ot try new things, really looking for an Exalted game, or another D&D3.5e game more specifically, but if you got something else you think I might be interested in, then feel free to holler at me.

Knows and could play: D6, VtM, Twilight 2k, Judge Dredd (Not the D20 version!), Call of Chtrowrug, Palladium (except rifts which is arse), Aliens, HoL, anything else really with the exceptance of DnD of any description. Cant take DnD. Brings me out in a rash. A real nasty one. The doctor gave me cream, but it doesn't help.
Schedule: Weekdays, well, GMT obviously, after 6 most weekdays bar Wednesday at the moment. Wednesday I am running a tabletop GURPS game. Weekends depends on the fighting season. I like to hit folks with big lumps of steel on the weekends. Re-enacting is the only passtime where you can do this and not face prosecution. Which means I have to do it dressed up like a 15thC man at arms. Course I like that...
Preferred game type/style: I am after a game that emphasizes characterization, even if that causes the entire party to die horribly in a nasty shopping accident. Especialy if said shopping accident involves cheese of any kind.
DM reference: I know no bugger here. Though they will all soon know my name! Oh yes! They will rue the day I found this place! *Coughs* Sorry.

need help learning a system? Possibly. It depends on the system, and if nothing else I can spectate a game, figure out how well I like the system, and work from there.

Knows and could play: Thats about it, know some 3.0 but dont have a PHB for it
Schedule: Almost anytime weekdays untill end of summer, preferrably 12 noon EST or later, weekeds again, anytime for the most part. Wednesdays are the one exception, playing D&D already scheduled.
Preferred game type: Anything really, i dont have any really specific experiences (when i normally play DMs switch a lot and we dont go by the 'core' rules). Ill play basically anything, just dont make me bake muffins.
Experience: Less than a year, most of the gameplay from 3.5 i understand though i will still need occasional help.
Other: Only have the 3.5 PHB, and a friend's 3.0 DM guide, planning to get a MM(3.5) but havent yet, so other than PHB i may have a few questions(like any updated magical items and possibly monsters...)

Campaign Type: Anything, I'm creative and reasonable... I like fighting and bargining
DM backup: I'm new to online play, but have done in person play a lot.
RPG Experience: I've been playing RPGs for a while from time to time... dont really have a core group to play with so trying something new with this internet games.

Preferred to play: Rifts (Palladium).
Knows and could play: DnD 3e (WotC), DnD 3.5e (WotC), Modern D20 (WotC), Starwars D20 (WotC), Vampire: The Masquerade (WW), Vampire: Dark Ages (WW), Werewolf: The Apocalypse (WW), Palladium Fantasy (Palladium), Ninjas and Superspies (Palladium), Nightbane (Palladium), After the Bomb (Palladium).
Schedule: I live in Alaska, so GMT -8. Until school starts (September 7th) I have swim practice from 2:30-4:30, though I'm out of the house by 12:30. On friday night I participate in a campaign at a friends house, so I'm unavalible on friday and during the weekend I don't have anything going on.
Preferred game type/style: Currently I enjoy games the emphisise character development and relations. A good plot is a must, and characters that make sense help. (i.e. Why is the Lawful Evil Necromancer helping the Lawful Good Paladin save the world from the evil god whom he worships?)
DM reference: None, I suppose.
Experience: I've been playing DnD off and on since 2e, and for the last year and a half I've been part of a weekly game.

Preferred gaming system: Any gaming system ok Adnd, Shadowrun, played most systems If I haven't seen it, I'll by the rules for any system I have not met before.
Schedule: Not sure what's meant by pickup game, I'm on GMT. I can post almost anytime up to 11pm GMT, I can online game wednesdays 8pm - 10pm, sundays 6pm - 11pm. Other days can be arranged but never later than 11 during the week (man's gotta work).
Preferred game type: I'll play any campaign, any genre
Experience: Been gaming since 87, had a long break though from around 95 onwards!
Other: I'm always open to criticism and feedback, always learning.
