time
i just made a chronomancy spell seed for epic level characters, and wanted some feedback. here it is
Seed: Time
Chronomancy
Spellcraft DC: 19
Components: V, S, (M)
Casting time: 1 minute
Range: Touch
Target: You and touched objects or other touched willing creatures weighing 1,000 lb.
Duration: 5-20 rounds
Saving Throw: None or Will negates (see text)
Spell Resistance: Yes
Spells using the Chronomancy seed allow the manipulation of time. If you wish, you may move can move the target into a slower time stream, causing them to move under the effects of a slow spell for a number of rounds equal to 20 rounds. You may also do the same to a creature with a haste effect, with the same duration. In order to affect spells using this seed with factors you must use the spell within a banned school factor, unless your character is a chronomancer.
You may also use this spell seed to effectively stop the target for 5 rounds, or to stop everything except yourself for 5 rounds.
Alternatively this seed can be used to make oneself able to naturally control time itself. This application has a base DC of 34, and only affects a range of personal. The seeds of slay and foresee must be added if you wish to increase the duration to permanent. This application requires 2-3 material components as well. The material components must be the heart of a vampire (which must still be living and present at casting), the claws of a werewolf, and if you wish to have the effect permanent then you must have one sacrificial creature of no fewer than 10 HD. Any less HD and the spell will mishap, causing the caster to be thrown into the middle of some hell dimension and must fight their way to the entrance/exit in order to transport himself/herself out.
Edit: added ideas.

Oh... you want feedback... well, okay.
Haste, Slow, Time Stop, plus Assume Godhood all in one spell. It is an epic, something beyond not only my scope but beyond what I'd use. To what I know, chronomancers are deadly and rare, and an NPC chronomancer would find this spell utterly redundant.
What did you have in mind with this spell?
"Don't let history... happen to you."

bbeg wants to control time. anymore info would ruin the campaign i am working on.

Allright, well, sadly you've revealed too much already -_-. But just as I suspected, you have no actual use for the spell. You just want an excuse for the BBEG to gain some sort of epic power. Here's my advice: (I'm strapped for time, so this'll be brief)
1) Cut out the first paragraph. It's pointless.

2) Consider not using a spell, instead use a potion or ring or something more ... substinant. a DC of 36 is kinda low for epics anyway.
EDIT: Now that I'm no longer strapped for time, let me explain 2 a bit more.
First, lets see what you have right now (subtracting the first paragraph). You have an epic spell that grants something equivalent to divine ranks in terms of power. For a paltry DC 36 will save, you can control time temporarily. For the low low price of a seed of slay, a beating heart of a vampire, claws of a werewolf, and a sacrifice of 10 HD (Which could be a familiar, if we're talking about epic levels), you can control time forever.
(I'll assume that you included a clause that prevented you from controlling the duration of the spell with the spell... so you can't say "Lasts 5-20 rounds? Bah, I control time, those 5-20 rounds now last for 2.8 eons.")
Any spell, ESPECIALLY a spell with such low requirements for an epic (20+ level) chars, any spell that is clearly equal, if not more, to major artifacts, any spell that 'practically' gives divine ranks, is ridiculous. How do you stop someone like that? I mean, geez... That just stretches the boundary of fantasy-reality...
Put it in an item, if you must grant such great things like this. A ring, a talisman, an amulet... anything. Tie a ritual to it if you want. But making it a spell... oh spam toads... no. There's just no hope at all.

first: it's a seed to create spells, not a spell itself.
2) it grants control of time, not durations.
3) did i, or is there alot more to it than it seems? muhahahahahahaha

Hrrrragh... I readeth not yon ELH, thy term "Seed" confuseth me greatly. Hark, what is a 'seed?'
2) it grants control of time, not durations.
But if something lasts 10 minutes... and you control time.... wink wink nudge nudge

If you type this quote into google, you'll get porn. O_o

I am reading about it right now, seeds are from epic level handbook. An epic spell is developed from smaller pieces called "seeds" and connecting pieces called "factors". So basically what he made there is a seed that a epic spellcaster might be able to use to create a time manipulating spell (Similar to M:TA system).
That is a pretty creative creation, some very creative spells can be created using Chronomancy and seed of Forsee.
I just think it should have a little higher DC.

DC's....
alright.... what would you suggest for a dc to start?...... 19 is what the seed should be if you follow the rules for finding a starter seed. (base spells being haste and slow). or do you mean the control time permanently dc?

Control Time Permanently DC. It just seems too powerful, and perhaps it should require another seed.

Controlling time permanantly should also have epic requirements. A ritual that costs a lot of EXP, various costly componants, and like a years casting time. Hell make it 10 years. If its for controlling time, what does 10 years matter to them?

muddy, those are factors that i can add. and it is an EPIC spell seed right now, so it has epic requirements.
What other seed are you thinking of, because i have an idea of what i want the spell made from this seed to do, and all i put is that.......
Edit: don't forget that permanent duration multipies the final spellcraft DC by 5.

Seed of Forsee can be a good choice. It's related to time and future as well. Or perhaps seed of fortify, the reasoning behind using that sead could be that it will help you resist against all the temporal anomalies caused by the time controlling application.
Well anyway, you have a long time to decide if you want to modify it or not. Reaching epic level will take a while and by then I am sure you will have a perfect version of that seed and the application (if they aren't already).

eh.... :S i was hoping to have a working version before i started the campaign...... but foresee might be a good choice..... seeing as you need to know what to change so you get it right the first time (going back like 30 times would be a pain in the butt, for the recipient of the spell and the DM....)
Edit: spelling.
Come on people. i still need more ideas/input on what you think should be done to "balance" (re: ruin) this seed idea.
