Call of Cthulhu d20 Schedule/Recap
Session 1.1
Sunday, August 15, 2004.
Tonight's players were:
James (Acido)
Malcolm (Morrolan)
Jeffrey (Mikkl)
Jacob (Squall)
Session Storyline:
Scene opened at the Board for the Advancement of Art and Culture (BAAC) Summit in New York, NY. The BAAC is an organization of smaller splinter groups dedicated to bringing the arts and culture into cities worldwide. The Summit is the group's largest convention, headlined by both progress reports by each group, and a keynote speaker. The procession ran smoothly, with each investigator (player) giving the status report for their group. However, one organization, MetroArts, run out of Providence, RI by a Miss Sara Landry, had nothing of worth to report. MetroArts had experienced some labor problems, and their latest project, the restoration of the antiquated Paradise Theatre, was reported to be way behind its promised schedule. At the end of the end of the convention, the investigators (Malcolm and Jeffrey at this point), were pulled aside by a regional head of the BAAC, Randall Carter. Carter offered each investigator a handshake and a slip of paper, and discussed with them the Paradise project. The investigators were offered a sum of $10,000 to pose as volunteers and get to the bottom of the delays to the Paradise's opening. They were also introduced to Jacob, a PI who's experience should help them. After being given some time to gather their personal belongings, the investigators are flown to Providence, where they were provided with motel rooms and a rental car.
Probable date of next session: Monday, August 16, 2004.

Session 1.2
Monday August 16, 2004
Tonight's Players were:
Jacob
Jeffrey
Malcolm
Session Storyline:
The investigators followed Jacob's lead in attempting to gather information around town. They started (well, after a small struggle to find the keys to their rental car) at a bar called Sid's Place, which ended up being a pretty crummy place. There they met a man, Mr. Harris, but he was already quite drunk, and all the information they got from him is that he's on the verge of losing his job. Next, the investigators made a trip to a more classy place, a nightclub called "The Door." At The Door, Jacob met with a man and woman who had some information on the Paradise. He was told that a woman who had worked there, Mary Green, had fallen off of a scaffold there while painting the ceiling of the main auditorium. She suffered some injuries, including broken bones. However, it was told that she was insistent that the Paradise is haunted. After inquiring about other claims of ghosts in the Paradise, the man told Jacob about a janitor there, Harry Samson, had reported strange noises around the Paradise. Meanwhile, Malcolm was doing his part by attempting to woo the local women. And then...
The server dropped.
Probable date of next game: Tuesday, August 17, 2004.
