Read First.

Before posting on the boards, consider these:

Do you know the server is up?
Have you checked the status page?
[b]Is your version of OPnPW Current?[/b]
Is your login name correct?
Have you tried using another account?
Can others log onto OPnPW?
Have you spoken with anyone else, and found them aslo unable to connect?
Do you know what OS and version of OPnPW you're using?
If you recieve any errors, do you have them written down and the steps to cause them?

If you have ALL that, and you're sure it still needs resolving, then..

Before you post away, for the sake of the developers prefix your subject line and name it helpfully.
By prefixing, I mean
if you've found a bug, your subject should be
"Bug:Glitch in Combat Map loading."

if you've got a comment
"Comment:Treeview is purdy"

If its a request then
"Request:Foo-bar?"

And avoid subject lines like HEEELLLP or CAN'T CONNECT!

Update:
Personal comments of any nature will be pruned from this forum. This will prevent any misunderstandings from me, or bad parsing for my task lists.

Today, I removed two seperate instances, and will continue to go back through and do so.

The server used by OPnPW has

The server used by OPnPW has recently changed, and the new server address has to be manually entered. If you are a new user, make sure you take the following steps in order to connect to the server:

  • Start up the OPnPW program
  • On the Select User screen, right-click on the profile you are using to connect
  • Find the "Server" field and replace what's there with this address: strikeropnpw.dyndns.org
  • Click Done, then connect with that account and you should be able to log on (you'll get a welcome message and see the lobby)
