Apart from solo starts, this is what has occured:
The party enters Croene City, and meets the King -- who prefers to go by Lord Reiku Talonkas. The mission was then set out for them, and they learned a little about the court npcs: Princes Twalindai Talonkas, Captain of the Croenetic Guard and General of the Croenetic army Hazrassu Kaorat, advisor Xeinatu Raelas, and the Oracle Croene.
The party then got into a 'dicussion' about whether a Drakalon was a good mount or not, and it was discovered that Jerulan's companion Drakalon, Ayana, can speak Draconic.
Seshu went to market and found out little. Jeru got a good talking to and heart to heart with Ayana.
The party went Skydiving.
The party discovers a floating silver ball of large-huge size hovering somewhere above Cro-City, and decide to investigate.

The Eye of Diiar: Scheduling/Recap
Recap from sessions II to IV (game days, 16th Flowrn, 979 Firra Kyraszech, 9th Age, to 18th Flowern, 979 Firra Kyraszech)
The party enters floating silver ball. The party finds many strange and wonderful things, one of which being an automatic door. Jerulan finds a crate of 'Peirr'khi juice' and pockets several vials. Seshu finds the fridge, filled with strange, d12 shaped contaners containing what looks to be plant material. Disembodied voice talks to party, identifies itself as Arri. Party talks to Arri until the outer door opens again, and a strange merchant Seshu has met before walks in, disrobing himself of his baggy clothes.
The party is quite expectly scared and nervous. Merchant is identified as a Duu'ath. Merchant lectures party, and leaves them in the middle of the woods a few days away from Cro City with only a crate of Peirr'khi juice as company. Spell has temporarily turned Ayana the Drakalon into a halfling female, without clothes. It is nightfall.
The party attracts one of the guardians of the woods, or rather, a very old treant. The party talks to the treant, and eventually goes to sleep. Treat accompanies party to the edge oif the woods as the party tries to argue with Ayana the purpose of wearing clothes. It is decided that Ayana can stay with the treant in the woods, as happy as a naked halfling woman in a tree can be until she is returned to her usual Drakalon self.
The party eventually comes to the gates of Cro city and are allowed entrance. The party 'adopts' a moronic half-orc child that is a REALLY BAD rogue. The party converses with a member of the Crimson Claw, who has come with many of his comrades, to the city for purposes of protecting it from any possible threat.
The party is put in the dungeon to make sure they won't wander off this time, and await Lord Reiku so they can explain their absence from the dinner that they were invited to. The party escapes cell via secret back exit and finds several rooms.
Party solves mystery in said rooms, after having their minds played with my a demon, diiar, yuorn, and the corpse of a dead mage, not to mention several evil ancient items, as nightfall approaches again and it becomes the 18th Flowrn. Ruggu is noted to be more stupid than was earlier anticipated. The party frees a fallen avatarum of Good who will try to redeem herself. The party has a reading of the Deck of Fates by the Oracle Croene.

Oklee doklee, after a nice winters rest for the holidays (hope y'all got decent swag), its time to schedule another game.
how does Tuesday, Jan 4th sound? Say around 7 or 8 pm Pacific time to get everyone settled? If only one of you shows up or a new player, we'll just do character background just before coming to croene and whatnot unless y'all have a better idea.

Recap Sessions V and VI
The party finally gets to their meeting with Lord Reiku and explains why they missed the feast, and are thankfully not yelled at or lose any of their good standing with the King of Croene Kingdom. The party is instead invited to a feast that night where there are a few other dignitaries and guests of honouyr to sit at the high table, one of which being Jergremmund, Ambassador from Sharu.
The party goes and gets ready for the feast, and heads to the feast. Seshu gets followed by a woman that has fallen in love with his dashing good looks (even though he would rather her not). Ambassador Jergremmund runs away from Jerulan at first seeing him. Jerulan plays 'footsies' with Ayana when she sneaks into the feasting hall when noone is paying attention. A gnome alchemist is also brought to the high table by the oracle and sits by the party, and they find his name is Terenu, another lord of equal standing as themselves in the kingdom. Several courses of food are served to the feast guests, including a candy adventuerer in a large gelatin cube, and a clockwork candy dragon.
Lord Reiku (he prefers lord to King) invites all three up to his chambers after the feast to discuss further information he has received regarding the tomb in the desert Chuum to the far south (bordering parts of eastern and southern Sharu). On the way, they meet up with Ambassador Jergremmund who gives Jerulan, who has been away for over a month, any new news in Sharu, and explains at least partially why he was so rude earlier, and apologizes, but must soon leave as he is quite full after the feast.
Lord Reiku asks Terenu to join the party in their mission to the Chuum desert, and he agrees, and all break to do whatever they have to do the night before leaving on Croene's airship, the Solaris.

The Eye of Diiar: Scheduling/Recap
Sessions VII to XI
Jerulan goes off to make mischeif for the night with Kippanu (Kip), his servant, while everyone else heads off to bed.
In the morning, the party meets up at the Solaris, and Seshu meets his new Drakalon. Terenu had shown up early, and had already entered the airship. The rest of the party boards the airship, adn gets themselves settled. Seshu heals the two new (mistreated) Drakalon, and learns their names: Sorulun and Karov.
The Solaris heads south by southwest towards the chuum desert and comes across a floating platform with a ballista launcher on it. They are fired upon and a small air battle ensues, ending with the capture of the platform and the deaths of the attackers. The party licks its wounds for a small amount of time.
Jerulan gets fondled by a flying jellyfish with tentacles that they meet over a lake on the way to the desert. The sailors on the solaris say they are harmless. Jerulan is inspected and left alone, and the Solaris continues on its way.... only to be attacked by air pirates riding giant four legged crows not three hours later! The battle comes to close with the reteat of any living pirates save for the pirate captain, who has been captured and now makes a home in the brig.
Arriving in the Chuum desert near some ruins and a tall stone formation, the party is greeted by a lack of archaeologists, which figures as they had been told that all had dissapeared. Nonetheless, it is an eerie sight. A human male approaches the party and introduces himself as Zelan, and at first the party takes him for an archaeologist that has returned. He explains that he had a vision and walked into the desert one night. A madman chasing dreams. Zelan gets aquainted with the Drakalon as Boknum, a male dwarf comes around the other side of the formation and thinks that Zelan is being fed to the beasts! Small confusion erupts, but is settled before it comes to blows. The party finds our Boknum is looking for the parts of a great sand scorpion as a means to try to figure out an alternate heat source for his people, the Kurundil Dwarves, far far north in the dwarvish kingdom of Kurundil, which suffers harsh, bitter cold winters year round. The party also discovers that he is a lower priest of Nyrm, the dragon of invention.
The party investigfates the abandoned archaeological site and finds a diary beloning to one of the higher ranking archaeologists and read it. The party finds out that they were investigating the tomb of an unknown king from at least two ages before, and had found, perfectly preserved, outside the tomb door under some rubble, the journal of rinvan tygh, which had been sent to Croene City for analysis. They had also discovered a rather interesting lock on the door: A medallion-shaped key, with various goves and holes is required to open the door. The team forges an iron fake to try in the door, and the last entry ends with 'they are trying the key as I wri'. The party investigates further and in a far tent from the ruins tombs, they find a melted wax figurine that may have once been in the shape of a man, and the charred skeleton of a man on his cot. There is no evidence of fire in the tent, and the skeleton is too fragile to have been placed there. Mysteries upon mysteries.
The party goes to examine what sort of supplies were left for them by the Solaris, and discover near the back of the cavern, sand with footprints in it as if made by a running man, that end in a small pile of ash. No footprints lead out. The party continues down the cavern, and finds themselves in front of a statue in the wall. It is searched and a secret lever is found. The lever is pulled and a secret staircase opens nearby, and most of the party decends. The Drakalons, Boknum, and Zelan opt to stay above ground, feeling uneasy about the sitation with the ashes and the charred skeleton.
The party dscovers a secret temple containing shelves and shelves of books, and hundreds of holders of scrolls. THey also find a twenty foot tall statue of a man with the head of a hesert wolf. The statue moves as the party approaches, and begins to speak to them. Within a few minutes, the party discovers that the statue is a sentient being (or at least a sentient statue-golem) that was charged in the seventh age to be a guardian of the knowledge in the temple. He reveals some information that the party did not know, and without knowing what grave danger he was placing terenu in, revealed that terenu is a mage, and tells him what will happen to him as he grows in power. A few tense moments pass, and Ah'gharne, as they learn its name is, defends the premise of magic, and Terenus wielding of it. Seshu heads off to pray to Croene for guidance, and Jerulan heads out to talk to a halfling sailor left by the Solaris as help in case its needed, and learns his name is Skrepthu (the th is pronounced as separate words, in this case). Terenu meditates with sacred insence within the temple, with Ah'gharne standing as guardian to make sure no-one kills him for what he is.

Next week I have vacation, so games can range anywhere during next week. Players who have missed more than 4 games since their joining will be canned, provided that it has been scheduled. Let me know what days you can play, and I shall schedule an exact date for the majority of people who can attend. Until I have been told otherwise, the game will probably be on tuesday night.

They wander off, possuibly to return again as:
1) Possible returning players/characters of slightly higher level should the player return and prove themselves able to be dedicated this time.
2) NPCs to talk to sometime later in the game, otherwise interact with.
3) Villains or somesuch.
Terenu will have to become a villain because why else would he betray lord reiku and croene kingdom and his noble rank by deserting this mission? Other than that, Boknum and Zelan will be figured out.
So no, no looting of the absentee players' inventory.
That being said, there are now more openings in EoD.
