New Tyrana
New Tyrana is a young town, build just over two years ago. It lies at the edge of the kingdom of Tyrn, the first in a of a series of campaigns to expand the kingdom's borders into the unknown lands of Barbaria. Until now everything has been going just according to plan, and life in New Tyrana has been quite profitable for its residence. There are several ore deposits and even a few dungeons, rich with treasure. But recently New Tyrana has been having problems, so many one could not begin to tell of them. They send urgent request of aide from all of Tyrn's great cities for heros to come forth and protect the new land.
This is pretty much your iconic DnD game. You will start off as fledgling adventurers for hire and grow to become great heros of New Tyrana.
I request 2-4 players for this campaign, though more will be accepted. This will be run slightly like a pick up game, where I can run a few adventures at once. I plan on throwing the first game this Thursday, if everyone is ready by then.
Requirements are as follows:
-Level 1
-38-point point-buy (what the hell, I like high stats :))
-PHB Races and any non-level-adjusted races I approve of
-PHB Classes and any other classes I approve of
-No evil allignments (you are going to be heros, not villians)
-Standard starting gold and equipment for each class (you can trade any equipment you dont want for its value in gold and buy anything else you want)
-Everything else is standard
Other than that, have fun.. If anything else catches my attention I will update later.

I plan on running the main quest on Thursdays, starting somewhere between 5-6 PM EST.
Point-buy is a system where the DM assigns a certain number of points, with which you spend on your ability scores. You cannot excede the given point value.

As for classes and what not. If you have something in mind, just ask me. If you cannot provide the appropriate information for the given class, I will not accept it (IE- an electronic copy of the class) Some classes will not be accepted because whomever made them doesn'y know what they are doing, others because they are over powered. One place you can go to look for classes is www.community3e.com (same for races) however I will be slightly more strict on the races as you are heros, and as such should not be scury to the townspeople. "Oh look! A bipedal talking wolf with a greatsword... Burn it!"

I don't agree with it, but it is the easiest thing to do. Give him a lower cha-score, and put points into diplomacy and bluff.
The game will be tomorrow night. It is just an intro, nothing too major. I would appriciate if all players could make it, but it isnt mandatory or anything.
I would like to add that Morro's game last night did not run as smooth as it should have. This poses me to add another rule to the list. Know your character, and everything that he can do. This is the main adventure, not one of the pickup games I will be throwing, and as such, I expect all of my players to know the rules. If it becomes apparent that you have no idea what you are doing I will drop you from the main quest. I don't mind so much if it were a pick up game and you didnt know the rules, but such is not the case.
I will reveiw any submitted character sheets tonight and notify you of any changes that need to be made so you have a day to fix em up. Other than that, I hope to see you all alive and well tomorrow night at 5-6 PM EST.
