Vampire; the Requiem
anyone have any news or knowledge of this?
as far as i know the vtm is dead, and vtr is to replace it. apparently its more of a 'system' then it was before. i do't know exactly what that means, but i imagine its more strict and similar to dnd, from what i'm told.
does anyone own it or have a pdf or know where to get one?
more importantly, does anyone know how to play it and want to teach me (and others?) to play?

Vampire; the Requiem
Wow I totally forgot about the Requiem...thats a good point Arch, we should try to find it and take a look at it. Who knows, it could be interesting :D
Lord of Castle Black and host of the never-ending party. Collects Morganti weapons and illegal books. Likes Eastern brandy, his sword Blackwand, and going on killing sprees.

You dont see them published in your average RP section of the bookstore. Might be worthwhile to look on Amazon and Ebay
Hi everybody!
Hi Dr. Nick
Vampire; the Requiem
Is that version before the masq and dark ages, or after? I've never heard of it untill now..

It's after masquerade. I hear it's much more balanced than vtm, but still to fully enjoy the game you will need hundreds of supplemental books that will leave you pennyless (which is why online piracy is greatly adored by whitewolf fans..).

Actually, I might be able to get my grubby hands on a copy of V:tR, and report the main major differences, if anyone is interested.
I live near a bookstore that sells rather exotic titles, and I'm almost a hundred percent sure I saw it.

There is a lot of difference, but I personaly think that vtr is better. There are a few less arguing points because almost anything can instantly be turned into a dice roll. What mistake people are making is the fact that you do not need to roll for everything. When I GM for my friend it ussually halfway through the fight that we even roll for inititive, because we don't need to make so many rolls as the book says. And I can't find a single suplement book that helps the game in any way.
