Grimsnock

Ever since it's foundations were dug in a plateau in the Lasrag Mountains, Grimsnock has been a town familiar with trouble. Between a short lived war, hill giant invasions, a dragon attack and a famine, Grimsnock has had it's fair share of emergencies.
But why so much trouble over a town in the mountains? The answer is simple.
The Lasrag Mountains are full of precious metals, gold, diamonds and many many more valuable resources and Grimsnock was founded to extract these resources.
Grimsnock is an integral part of the Trohne kingdom. It supplies the vast majority of demands for metals and diamonds within Trohne. Thanks to this town Trohne has become a wealthy and powerful kingdom. It's towns and cities are well maintained and most definatly well run. It's Royal Family is well respected by many other kingdoms, except for one.
The neighbouring nation of Kanus has never gotten along well with Trohne and recently has declared war on Trohne. Both nation's armies immediately started fighting at the borders.
No sooner than the leaders of both kingdoms announced that war had been declared that all communications from Grimsnock stopped. Trade carts either went and didn't come back or didn't go at all. No letters were received from the town. Not a soul was seen coming down the mountain road leading from Bann to Grimsnock.
The king of Trohne, Edward Jahrl, is growing worried. He ordered several scouts to investigate but to no avail. He sent two parties of willing adventurers to try and find out what was happening up there but few returned.
The demand for metals for weapons and armors increasing dramatically and the supply practically dry. The armies are in dire need of reinforcements but can't get many due to the lack of equipment. The borders of the kingdom are barely being held and STILL no word has been heard from Grimsnock.
The king has ordered adventurers and willing individuals to come to the capital and the army headquaters and adventurers there will be split into groups to go to Grimsnock.

And this is where you come in. I'm looking for a group of 5th level adventurers to try and find out what exactly is happening in Grimsnock. Each character has an allowance of 4000gp for equipment, the 32 point buy system for stats and they can be of any alignment except chaotic evil. Though the party should tend towards good, evil character will be allowed but they must be role played accordingly. All regular races and classes form the D&D 3.5 edition players hand book are allowed. If you want to play a race or class not in the hand book you'll have to ask me first.

Sorry about all the reading there but I think it'll help anyone who wants to play understand why this town is so important. Anyone who's interested in playing or has any comments please post here so I can get things sorted out and started up
