[b]1. Character Creation Rules:[/b]

[b]Level[/b] – Lvl 1 characters

[i]No other books/documents can be used other then the ones mentioned below for creating characters. So please don’t even ask about it, because I hate to say no and disappoint you. Modifications to anything aren’t allowed (have faith in the d20 system). [/i]

[color=darkblue]Note 2: I have separate copies of all the classes/races in pdf format. Although they aren’t of good quality (scanned from photocopied pages and had to edit them to decrease file size a bit), they are still readable. So if you want to play those classes/races just contact me and I will send you the copies.[/color]

[b]2. Races:[/b] All 3.5e standard PHB and the following MM subraces are allowed.

1. Mountain Dwarf
2. Deep Dwarf
2. Grey Elf
3. Wild Elf
4. Wood Elf
5. Forest Gnome
6. Tallfellow Halfling
7. Deep Halfling

[b]3.Classes:[/b] All 3.5e standard PHB classes are allowed, and when the players meet the DMG standard prestige class requirements, they will be allowed to take them as well. Here are the other classes that will be allowed in the game.

[b]6.Experience system[/b]

Every game, no matter what anyone does, who attends or not, everyone will gain equal amount of experience. Based on my experience (mostly from playing cotv) I believe this is the most balanced way to handle an online group. However this doesn’t mean that you can just miss any game and you will be all right, if you miss frequently without reason, you will be dropped.

This might not seem fair to those players who pays more attention in the game, but remember that by being active and more attentive you will be rewarding yourself with more role-playing opportunity, a better position within the group and treasures.

[b]7.Death Sessions[/b]
Death sessions are one on one session that will last about 30 minutes. In this session, the player will die. Based on what player does in this session and how long he/she survives, it will have some effect on afterlife. Death sessions will always contain some elements from your background story, so it is essential that you do have a background story in your character sheet. After all the characters go through death sessions, the real game will start.

[b]8. Character Sheets[/b]

Create your character in excel, wordpad, notepad or any character generator and send it in via email, MSN, IM or forum PM. I will upload them all into my 3e-profiler account and edit them each level according to your preferences. No level up will occur within game sessions. When a player have enough XP, the player and me will have private sessions where all the things will be decided.

[b]9. General Info:[/b]

I can’t really reveal much about the game. Just know that the game will take place a in a different world than your characters are originally from. Don’t expect an undead/horror campaign although they “might” be part of few sessions. Also don’t expect the monsters to have same stats as the monster manual mobs, although in some cases those stats haven’t been changed. Last but not least, remember that no skill is unimportant.

[b]10. Status: CLOSED[/b]

The game will probably start mid-april. Why so late? Because my final exams ends around that time. So why am i posting this so early? - I am really stressed out from studying and this is giving me a little bit of peace. And I want this campaign to succeed, so I figure advertising it early will probably get me enough player by the time I start. If it turns out there aren't enough interested player, it will be saved for a later time.

So right now you can post and say if you are interested, post any comments etc. Don't send in any characters yet, I will post when I will start accepting characters.

Also some of the races/classes pdfs haven't been compiled yet. The reason is that I don't have a scanner at home so I have to do them at my university library, and their scanner is cheap and slow. The other reasons is that I haven't had the chance to test some of the classes yet.

[color=darkblue]Note 6: Roleplaying and combat will share about 50/50 of the campaign time, although in some sessions one of those might consume a greater share. [/color]

[b]10.Alignment:[/b] No evil alignments please(simply because evil characters often do stuff that screws up everything for the party), other than that you are not completely restricted to your alignment, unless it is what you prefer.
