Question: Bad File Name or Number.
My PnP is collapsing around my ears.
I recieve the following error when starting it:
Error Number: 0052
Error Description: Bad file name or number
Error Line: 0558
Version: 2.0.6
It then takes me to the profile making stage. When I finish and hit done, I get another bad name/number message again, followed by a path error.
Error Number: 0052
Error Description: Bad file name or number
Error Line: 4120
Version: 2.0.6

Error Number: 0075
Error Description: Path/File access error
Error Line: 0072
Version: 2.0.6
When I try to close the program from here, it gives me a small window error message.
Runtime error '402'
Must close or hide topmost modal form first
The program then closes.
Anyone know what can be done? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success.

Question: Bad File Name or Number.
Check that the OPnPW folder within your "My DOcuments" folder has proper security permissions. Check that you haven't deleted any of the config files in that folder, Check that their are no files in the root of "My Documents\OPnPW" it should only be subdirs.

Question: Bad File Name or Number.
Do you have a my documents folder? Have you done anything to modify it? Find where your my documents folder is. After that, Check to ensure there is a OPnPW within your my documents folder.

Question: Bad File Name or Number.
Well, that's not good. I moved the My Documents path to my 4 gig HD, and I never moved anything with it.
Problem is, I deleted the "OPnPW" folder in the last one. Or cut it to somewhere it disappeared from.
I'll try making a generic empty "OPnPW" folder and see if that works.
EDIT: Nope.

Question: Bad File Name or Number.
Windows doesn't know where My Documents really is, and is telling opnpw its in a place that doesn't exist.

Sorry I've been unable to assist you with this thus far, But hopefully we can solve it now. That is, if you still even care.
If you do, Download this small program and run it.
www.leetsoftware.com/brad/pubsoft/prjMyDocs.exe
Run it and copy down what it tells you, if that errors out to, well then we have a serious problem.
If it does run, and tells you a path, Post with said data.

Question: Bad File Name or Number.
Sorry, I never saw this post for a while.
It tells me what I knew, but what PnP couldn't seem to find out.
My My Documents path is D:\.
EDIT: I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it (with 2.0b) but the same error still happened. The program you sent has told me the Documents path... what should I do now?

Question: Bad File Name or Number.
The problem lies in that it can't make a directory on the root folder correctly, This problem is really 50/50 in terms of cause.
A) Its a very bad bad idea to change windows enviroment variables, especially to a root folder.
B) I never allowed for root based folders.
I'll fix it tomorrow.
