user warning: Table './biermanb_drpl1/accesslog' is marked as crashed and should be repaired query: INSERT INTO accesslog (title, path, url, hostname, uid, sid, timer, timestamp) values('ATTN: Morrolan', 'node/611', '', '38.107.179.241', 0, '0ad940df21141664c529dfc87d41e12d', 241, 1328676696) in /home/biermanb/public_html/modules/statistics/statistics.module on line 64.

I just downloaded this thing today and as of yet it still gives that same error message and wont connect. I couldn't find anything in the last post that would help. Any clues and is anyone else having this problem?

Balthazor,
First, welcome to OPnP. The error message you are receiving (Server Drop ISP Issues) is an issue with the server.

What you can do is when you go into OPnP, edit the profile, and where it says server, choose the backup server, and try to connect there as well. To my knowledge, the backup server is up, but then again I'm having issues with my client as well.

Let me know if that helps.

[Edit]
Sorry, just realized I wasn't incredibly helpful. If you are using OPnP v 2.09 then right click to edit the profile, and where it says 'server', click the 'Def' box, and choose 'backup'. That should put it to tuxserve.dyndns.org

but now the Default is back!

Hi everybody!
Hi Dr. Nick

Please note this is the support forum. Posting should be actually helpful. Ok, the default server is back! It always is. Then it is always down again. No big deal, happens all the time. YOU DON'T HAVE TO POST EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME IT HAPPENS. Ahem, now then--Please read the Announcement of this forum before posting. It contains rather useful information. Here is a good example for this thread:
And avoid subject lines like HEEELLLP or CAN'T CONNECT!
If you have trouble doing something, PM someone or look up a few AIM or MSN names to ask (many people, like me, have their names in their profile)like the announcement asks. Also, remember there is a search feature. Please use it before you post something (not so) new.

EDIT: The helpfulness part is pointed at Yurith.

my subject line was not heeelp or can't connect. it was the exact message i was getting. and yes i saw it on another post but it was an old one and i wanted to see if the problem was still occuring or if my end was bad.

just because there's a link to pm someone or aim them or whatever doesn't mean you'll always get a response or get one any time soon. At the time i had posted this message there were only two people signed in. Me and a guest. So PMing someone would have taken just as long if ever to back a reply.

If you hadn't noticed, there almost never is more then one to two people online at once. That doesn't matter. Most of the active people check the forums once every day or two. Also, if you were to PM me, I would feel obliged to assit you in some way, be it actually figure out what is wrong or point you to someone that can. I would think most people would as well.

Melubb,

I'm not trying to start a flame, nor to spam the support forum, but here you go:

I was attempting to allieviate the issue in as orderly a fashion as was possible. And if that comment about 'posts should actually be helpful' was not geared towards me, than I apologize... it seemed to be.

Second, the user concerned is obviously new, and perhaps not entirely accustomed to the rules or the way things are. Yeah, s/he could have used the search function, or tracked one of us down, but it isn't a big deal. Now, was he here for six months, and did these things I would perhaps be a bit harder on him.

The support forum is to help assist other users, and while he could have asked us directly, he posted here. No harm, no foul.

Again, not to try and start a flame, or insult you, just merely speaking my mind at this point.
