Away
First off, the away message system bothers me just a tad. I guess there isn't a boolean that records if you have your status set as away, so if you do something like:
[code:1]/away
/nick Mikkl-Away eating
/away[/code:1]
your nick will be "Mikkl-Away eating-Away" instead of "Mikkl" or maybe "Mikkl eating."
Anyway, I was just sitting in the Town Square thinking, "I should go get something to eat... but if someone comes, I'm 100% sure that they'll leave before I get back. Whatever shall I do?"
So I pondered...
and pondered...
and pondered...
and then decided that there should be some sort of away messagey thingy. I mean, we've always used:
[code:1]/away
/nick Mikkl-Away eating[/code:1]
or some similar thing, but wouldn't it be nicer if you could do something like:
[code:1]/away eating[/code:1]
The name would still appear only as "Mikkl-Away," but if you mouseover Mikkl on the userlist, a tooltexttip (I think that's what they're called in VB anyway) would display something like
[code:1]Mikkl <--Bold
Status: eating
Logged on for: 17:56:34
[/code:1]
The status would be "Active" until set Away, then it would be the message from the "/away {message}" thing, default would be "Away."

Away
oh, and I guess that if you change your nick while away, it should probably keep you away, so
/away eating
/nick The Shoveller
/away
would cause this:
[code:1]Mikkl //Status: Active
Mikkl-Away //set away; Status: eating
The Shoveller-Away //nick change, still away; Status: eating
The Shoveller //set active; Stutus: Active[/code:1]
OPnPW currently does this with the same commands:
[code:1]Mikkl
Mikkl-Away
The Shoveller
The Shoveller-Away
[/code:1]
