What is up with these bots that have been attacking the forums lately? Are all phpBB forums getting hit like this?
Now we've been getting some guest bot that posts on random threads qouting (or failing to do so) various posts. It's pretty retarded, actually.

The bots join, and then in their profile they link their website, thus when google indexes the forums, it sees a link to the site. THis influences what google calls "page rank", thus on my forums 0 post members cannot have website links. They're posting now? on these forums? link?

I highly doubt anyone is that stupid when they post, and it's all the same 'person', as the posts are 9691, 9692, 9693, and 9694. Therefore, I'm quite certain that's a bot.
It dredged up random topics and quoted random posts. Kinda wierd.

Every time I check this forum I always find this user named "ratega" on. I have a suspicion that this is a bot put out by whoever created the backdoor ratega trojan horse.
Now what bothers me is that, I can see a link in his profile, but he have zero post. It seems he have somehow bypassed the link block.
Now that's one smart bot!
Oh and you guys might not want to click the link in his profile, as it probably will infect your pc with ratega.

Taking a half-year introductory supposedly-college-level psychology course. Final grade is a term paper, a psychological profile on someone you know. (I'm a senior in highschool for reference.)
