The Minotaur War
For centuries now the minotaurs have lived on their own islands out in the oceans , secluded for the most part with only a few coming onto the "main" land. The two races that lived here were the dwarves and the humans, these two are also the most powerful races in the world. However, the humans and dwarves have been at war for the last few years and have only resently signed a treaty for a ceasfire. The minotaurs, hearing of the temporary weakness of the two races, have decided to take advantage of them to expanded their own territories to make room for their own growing populations. Two weeks ago the Minotaurs invaded both the humans and the dwarves at the same time, and now they have become allies against a common enemy. And still other races have been called apon to help in the fight. The humans have called apon their long time friends the Centaurs while the Raptorans have heard the call of the dwarves. The elves have also come to fight. An elvish dark ship* has seen another wave of Minotaur ships headed for the continent. The three race have called apon a group of heros to spear head a preemptive strike against this third wave. Volunteers for this mission will have no help.
Looking for 4-7 PCs, level 5, 9,000 gold, 34 points for point buy system. Max HP at first, honor system for rest of the levels, everyone will get 1 masterwork item of their choice. I am looking for at least one human, one human, and one elf (these will be the representives of the three races)

yes, 3.5. I am looking at roughly like 6or7- like 11. But it all depends on where everyone else is in relation ship to GMT -5 (East coast of the U.S.)

Sounds interesting. I take it it's one party, right? Hmm. Depending on when this is held, I might be interested in doing this. What days are you thinking this'll be held? I'm in EST, and not against doing late night games.
Just curious, what's the situation with the other races, like gnomes, orcs, halflings, etc. Just bystanders, or have they mostly aligned at all, or what?

...... Good point, i forgot agout that, I will accept Players hand book, Races of the Wild, Monster Manual (race must be approved by me), and any other book that you send me an email of the descrition of the race you wish to be, and then i must approve it..... I will also accept Warforged.

Il play, but i need to know what days and time? and if i play a centaur from races of the wild it will start above lvl 5, they have 4HD of monsterous humanoid and a LA+2... so what should i do?

One of two things could happen-
a) The DM does not allow you to play the monster race.
b) You start off at level 6, but you have the same EXP as the rest of the party (10,000 at level 5). You do not gain another level until you acheive your seventh level (21,000 XP)

ok, heres the deal everyone.... I just got a load of shit dumped on me at school and in life in general so im afraid that i will not be able to run this campaign. However, i will open it up to anyone and everyone if they feel they want to take my stead as DM, if they like i will also send them my notes as a guide line if they wish.

Mmmm sounds nice... especialy the whole involving muddy part XD, well anyway... 2 questions come to mind...
1, just what material will you allow? Im bored of standard characters :P
(aka, beyond the basic books, the compleate series? some stuf from the unearthed arcana? FR sourced stuf? Eberron sourced stuf? Other extention books sources?[like but not nesseseroly the book of vile darkness], GOOD unoffical sources[of course ran by you for erm, double checking on your part if you wish...] ect.)(i do btw know the balance of this system... better than the backside of my hand, so i can keep it quite fair.
2, got room still :P other than not being around untill 5pm pst(3hrs off est) and utterly unavailible fridays, ive got one of the clearest sceduals ive ever seen... not to mention very reliable looking, no doubt that may change at times.

ARG now thats just evil, well... heres my sob story...
Ive had no power... now for the third day straight... that means no internet, no laptop, no acess to most of my dnd manual type stuf..., so though i have a definate plan for my character, i cant do much about it untill... either very late tonight, or late tomorrow... at this rate... god i hate pg&e, big storm(we had REAL hurricane force winds, note, no hurricane... well it is northern cali, we dont get hurricanes... or true hurricane force winds normaly...)
The fun part, last tuesday, i had my wisdom teeth sergicly removed, so i was just getting back into good shape(aka not taking vicodine and being drowsy, which was preventing me from doing anything more intelegant than playing ff10... and not realy knowing what i was doing leveling them up...) when the power cut out...
So anyway, ill get mine to you as i can... but atm as noted... i cant...
Anyway, on cheerier subjects...(fyi, im enough of a computer geek to be going through digital withdrawal...) we should... hopefully have power again soon... ish... maybe... >.> and once we do i will have my sheet done very very fast.
As for where i am that i can manage to send this, i whent in town and have stoped off at the second inet cafe in town that isnt all that good...(first realy good one, the guy who runs it took his vacation this week ><) its kinda expensive here and unconfertible... and closes at 5pm... so i dont realy have much time :P... anyway good luck... id have rushed my sheet to you, but quite literaly ive been looking at snapped power lines, trees on power lines, and poles at 45 degree angles a while now... Hey atleast the 2 of the 3 major towns around here are all the way back up... and the third almost there... that DOES put us next in line... thankfully.

My logic is such. I dedicated my time to plan encounters and adventures for you guys, the least you can do is notify me of whats going on. I find it to be disrespectful to not even let me know what is going on. The DM dedicates himself to the game under the assumtion that the players are doing the same. Such a balance is not occuring here, so.. yeah..
