3.5e D&D: Dragonlance Campaign

The game takes place soon after the War of Souls in the Age of Mortals. Characters will be starting in the city of Pashin. Recently, the Dark Knights have been driven out of the Silvanesti Forest by Minotaurs. Thus, the Dark Knights have taken to living in Pashin. This caused the population to nearly double from 1,200 to 2,350 people. Also, as the population has recently been under the rule of the Green Dragonarmy, they don't especially enjoy the Dark Knights.

Number of players: 4-5.

Current players: 1) Saber

Current prospects: 1)ArchDevil 2)Hihe 3)Acido

Level: 1.

Race: Any race from the Dragonlance setting (that lives on land) is acceptable.

Classes: A well balanced party is required. The skill sets of a fighter, rogue, cleric and mage need to be filled. By fighter, I mean anyone that can fill that role, such as a Fighter, Ranger, Paladin, Barbarian, or Monk. The same concept for the rogue and cleric. (I would personally suggest druids. They get to nuke and heal.)

Ability Scores: 32 point buy. An extra point at second level will be decided depending on how well the characters do in their first adventure.

Requirements for acceptance: A complete character sheet, a brief description (nothing too lengthy, the point of the game is to develop the characters), a goal (What drives the character. This is very important for me.), a short chat with me (you can find me on aim or msn, or you can PM me here), and the ability to play on most (at least 2/3) Tuesday evenings, likely from 6-9 PM EST.

If the players would like any variation in rules, please notify me and I will either agree, disagree, or compromise. Utilizing things like the flaw rule, require an unanimous vote by players and me.

Regarding traits and flaws, I'm all for it. Cuz I completely forgot about it when creating my character.

That makes four. Others, feel free to apply. Remember, those who wish to play the most get to play. Basically, the first people to submit those things which I asked for get to play. This Tuesday at 6:00 PM will be the first "game". I am figuring it is going to be more of a Q&A and an in depth description of the current time and attitude of Pashin. Also, any help you need in getting your character together shall be rendered during this time.

May be a little late to the game tonight. Not bad, just maybe a half hour or so.

I've created three characters thus far, a fighter-type, a ranged combat/rogue-type, and a support caster-type. Basically, I wanna fill in whatever the group is lacking. Oh, and say "yes" to traits and flaws.

Acid can't play. Turns out tuesdays don't work well for him. Anyway, we game next week at 6.

Arch, today was the day when you have the oppertunity to ask me any questions you might have about the setting, character creation, or any of that. Also, I explained the setting a good deal more. Sorry that you missed it. You might be able to snatch the log from someone.

As to "what happened to our cleric," I decided I didn't want to play one. I hadn't actually made the character anyway, so no big loss.
