I haven't been on this site long enough really tell how close knit the community is but i would love to get in on it. My internet is spazzin out right now but once i get it fixed I can start DMing around here if anyone would have the time to play. I have downloaded quite a few full adventures in .pdf format i can DM or try to make one up on my own. I dont have an extreme amount of DM experience but i can give it a shot. I would love to play in any campaign also. Just PM or i have yahoo i check too.

This community is actually quite open and supportive, expecially to newer DMs, mostly because we need more. Whenever you get time to post again, try looking in the Misc section as to the standard posting method for a DM seeking players for an adventure. Welcome to the community!

i wasnt sure if i should post in the misc. section because im not currently opening a game. i am also curious what type of game would get the most attention around here. I myself prefer 3.5 dnd and i definately want to learn a little more shadowrun. what do others around here like. also im curious is the community more combat or RP envious. just any tips on which campaign would get more results. sorry if there is a post somewhere else.

3.5e is largely what is played around here, but if you want to run something else, such as shadowrun, you can probably generate enough interest to get a game going.
as for combat vs roleplay, you'd have to ask your players, but a healthy mix seems to be the norm.

Well get a character thought up now im not sure what im going to on how to pick stats but ill prolly do standard point buy system. If you make your stats around that youll be fine. also try to have at least a basic background thought up. if you have questions PM me. Ill get back to you on where to send the character sheet and in what format.

Yes im allowing all core classes and PrC in the DMG and the PHB. If you want to be a class from a differnet source ask ill look into it and tell you whether or not u can.
