Shadow Veil
I am starting up a campaign called Shadow Veil. I'm sorry but I can't really think up a good summary for the campaign without ruining the story. I will also note that this is my first time DMing my own campaign PERIOD. I don't think I will be to bad but i would prefer to have players that will have the patience to not kill me if i screw something up or get lost somehow.
The setting will be 3.5 Dnd with no psionics.
Character Creation: Your characters shoud be made using the 28 point-buy system. I prefer that you only use core races and classes. I will allow prestige classes when you get that far. If you want to use a nonstandard anything ask me i'll try to be as open-minded as possible.
Items: When determining your gold act as if you rolled the maximum on your roll. You also get an extra 100gp. (i.e. A fighter gets 6d4x10 gold, you assume you rolled a 4 for all of them giving you a total of 240. Then you add 100, so you have a total starting gold of 340).
I will warn you though that you are not starting the adventure in a town. So buy everything you think you will need.
When creating your character I would like to have at least a basic character background. I also want you to write down your character's worse fear (do not worry this isn't a horror survivor type campaign).
I want at least 4 people and I am not allowing more than 6. It is also at a first come first serve.
Play Time: I can play anytime after 3p and before 11p (EST) on anyday except wed. and sun.

i can play anytime after 3 on fridays and anytime on saturday. I'll even stay up real late if it's needed.

I definitely want to play but you are definitely going to help me with the stats and money. Fridays would be good Saturdays and sundays are busy. weekdays are hard to say Mondays and thursdays i rarely have anything goin on. name a time and i'll see what i can do. like i said before i would prefer to be a fighting based character : fighter ranger rouge etc. but am willing to be whatever the party needs also are there any allignment requirements.

No there won't be any alignment restrictions. As long as the 'evil' characters don't get to outta check il be fine with it.

Yes you will start at first level. Just make up a character and send me the info. we'll have to find a time everyone can play, but at least someone on this site sounds interested.
Please post your class as soon as you've decided so others know what they want to play.

sounds like there's about 3 or 4 people including me who want to play a campaign we ought to through out some possible times to atleast get the first session planned and we could try to be flexible and work around everyone's schedule we wouldn't hav to have the same time or day each session by the way could someone email player's guide in pdf.

Come on it wont be that bad just because I havent DMd b4 doesnt mean anything. I know the rules like the back of my hand and i am very organised so i wont be a snail doing things. I just wanna be able to play.

Awesome if everyone who has posted about interested we can at least set up a time. I prefer when you post times that you post your character's class and race. We now have four I will accept 1 more player, 2 at the max. We be playing most likely on wednesdays around 8:30ish. So if anyone else is interesting please post and soon as we will probably start within the next few weeks.
