Done, and messaged, any ideas how to make troops?

As a rough guess, once your HQ reaches a certain level, you can start to make troops (or more probably, you get the blueprints for a barracks)

good, you're all three invited. you need to build your hq to level 3 then build the level one barracks to make foot troops. the help page will tell you the requirements for the buildings and units.

DO NOT BUILD TROOPS THE FIRST 3 DAYS. you have a 5 day begginer protection period, use that time to build your resources up, so you can really throw out the soldiers the last day and a half.

Located at coordinates 550|710.

Already planning a small invasionary force to a remote 120 point village. Am refraining from attacking until it is assured they have no defenses. Point total has not changed in days.

Troop morale is high, and supplies are steady.

I'm at 563|710 on the same continent.

hehe, nice. I caught ya up there. Gimme a shout if you need anything, I'm steadily and slowly climbing points-wise (sadly, my resources have reached an impasse for now :(. Level 13's just aren't cutting it anymore)

iron will always be a surplus resource. it's an unfortunate truth, but until the late portions of the game, iron is underused. trade it on the market for an equal amount of another resource.

Tragically, nobody wants to trade clay or wood for an equal amount of my iron... because it's a surplus resource. :)

(Actually, I once found a guy who was offering 500 wood for 500 iron. It didn't take me long to click "Accept". But that's the only 1:1 deal I've ever found on it.)

lol. just post your offer, someone will take you up on it. afterall, there are always players building their heavy cavalry up in your area. this means they need much more iron than wood or clay. at the same time however, you are closer than the other offers of iron for whatever

Iron, iron... no no. I have close to my max on it still >.<.

If anyone needs any, I got about 2k iron sitting here ready to go at a moments notice...

Hmm... methinks getting that Iron Mine up to level 13 with the rest of my resources might have been a touch of a blunder on my behalf then...

After realizing early on that I would have a surplus of iron most of the time, I got into the habit of keeping my iron one level behind my timber and clay. So right now those are 15 and my iron is only 14.

This game sounds like a game I used to play a long time ago...Utopia...I am somewhat interested in this now I have to say. Damn you for piquing my curiosity. I'll take a look when its not 2am.

utopia is wonderful, this is BETTER dude.

by the way. experience has taught me, leave your iron 3-5 levels behind until you hit level 20-21 resources, your choice, then when your wood and clay hit 20 or 21, upgrade the iron to equal level. why? because by the time you make it to level 21 resources, you're fixing to make a lot of heavy cav. 600 iron each. seriously, when you get those higher levels, you need the iron. earlier on, less iron is needed.

What should my baby-mining level be at?

Yeah, baby mining. You need to get the new version of Tribal Wars, mister White. Babies are a secondary resource, but become essential in some of the more advanced technologies, such as Baby Seal Launchers.

Rules are rules, but I wanted to give you a heads-up. How are things looking from the Tribal Wars front? It appears you have been inactive for about 3 or 4 days now...

And which war are you talking about? There have been a few very large wars for a while... namely the FTR vs. PTT/AoS/TFA/Hatred war that ended with Hatred and PTT at about 7 points total. A lot of tribes do seem to be readying for war, though, from the looks of the ME/Xig merger (MX) and the ever-growing ESL/CE/FTR/AoS/Hobo/Smoke/Aten/RVRO/MX alliance (although not all tribes are allied to each other, the chain of alliances looks to prove impossible to deter if joined together).

Politics eh... I scarpered from world 3 for a while 'cause of death. when my world 4 one dies I'll probably be back though.

Y'know, I"m getting annoyed... I've only been attacked twice, but it's been attacks from allies -.-

Hah, I am back on Tribals Wars now. I had to take a break, lost the heart for it I guess. But I am back in W4 now. And for some reason everyone thinks I am quality leadership so I am now the Athenean Queen to the DANAE tribe, got them fooled. lol
