[b]Intro[/b]

Her name was Diane, in hindsight it really should have been Charlene but here he was, stuck with Diane. Diane wasn’t so much a bitch, as absolutely demanding of him, absolutely demanding of his every attention and dealing with her, was a nuanced art at best. True to form, she was absolutely blaring at him; absolutely wailing at him in klaxonic tones of terror and fury.

James Charles “JC” Scott, a man with three first names and character to match, dealt with her in stride. In the past however, she hadn’t been so high maintenance, in fact he didn’t do any of the maintenance. As a Sergeant in the United States Navy Air Corp, he did no maintenance, he was a pilot; a damn good one too. However, the small F4 was bellowing warnings now, a continuous stream of chime bells and a more ominous tone. The tone indicated missile lock, and it had for several seconds been active, a sparrow was in the air, and it intended to do him harm.

Looking downwards in the cramped cockpit, JC had two real options, an ejection lever to his upper right, and the throttle to his left. Fight or flight. Would Diane pull him through, or would he join the lush green canopy below? He considered what got him here, a Navy pilot 2 miles above a thick jungle below, operating in this god forsaken land. Thoughts raced through his mind, fight or flight? The chimes were louder now, he had turned off the tone. He knew it was there, she needn’t remind him.

JC placed his hand on throttle.

“Diane, Please.. One more time.”

The amount of players willing to join in suprised me, and I'm humbled. Picking a group was tough and could never be done as equitably as I wanted. So I've decided we're going to pay homage to the orginal campaign, and start with

As having spots, anyone else can spectate, and if during the course of the game, I'm easily able to handle more players, will be added in. If anyone doesn't make it, people can be subbed in and out. For the four who aren't currently in, [b]I will[/b] be running a second concurrent campaign, and the role is reversed, with those four being priority. I hope eververy one is okay with this and understands. Hopefully you all remain interested and we're able to get this game running quickly on friday.
