ok, hear this out. can you make a small script or program that will take emails and turn them into forum posts? because when i get out on the truck, i will definitely be able to email, but i don't know about the internet.

Wouldn't that mean that you would also need an email sent to you for every post on the forum?

Aye Mikkl. Unless, of course, Clay doesn't want to be able to read the posts, and instead just email random responses. Not that he doesn't do that anyway of course, but at least they are usually on topic ;)
Seriously though. One thing you can do is grab Mozilla Thunderbird (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/), and install it. Once it comes up, it'll ask what kind of account to set up.
Click on RSS Feed and set it up for OPnP, and it should be able to pull down all the RSS updates to OPnP. Now, I doubt you'll be able to respond to anything, since RSS feeds usually just include a snippet and a linkie to the rest of the article (I think, at least in Thunderbird. I really should set it up and do some testing huh?), but you can at least see what we're doing. And worst case, you can always send me an email, and I'll make a post quoted to you on the forum.
[edit] done some testing, and here's what I came up with (All instructions are for Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5)
1. Go to Tools->Account Settings.
2. Type: RSS News and Blog
3. Name: Whatever you want it to be
4. Click finish.
5. In account settings, click on whatever you named it
6. Click 'Manage Subscriptions' button in the lower right
7. Click 'Add', and select the box for 'Feed URL'
8. Enter 'http://www.opnpw.com/forums/rss.php' into the box
9. Make sure 'Show Article Summary instead of loading the web page' is checked, and click ok.
10. Enjoy your new feed
As I prophecized, you won't be able to make forum posts like this. At most you can forward it to someone else. You can still use a secondary in order to post if you wanted to (I have already offered to be such), but that's probably the best that we'll be able to do.
As a bonus, however, it appears you can see the whole post. [/edit]
