Meh. The majority of the ones dubbed over Final Fantasy cut scenes were a LOT better. I've also seen one damn good Gundam Wing (the only anime worth watching) one.

that's not the same Jin Roh, nor is that one NEARLY anywhere as cool as the Mr. Jack one...the only other one i managed to find was another system song, "lonely day" which isn't all that bad, the beginning starts out really cool...but the rest is kind of whack. I think that Mr. Jack is gonna be a tough one to come by

the shows that make it on tv i find are too kiddish and .. can't think of an appropriate word. really weird.

the movies (and i've seen two, care of a friend of mine) are just too out there and strange. too over the top. reminds me a lot of tarantino. (not the style, just like the placement in regards to more common media). ftr, i don't like tarantino either.

So I pretty much have no idea what the hell anyone is talking about anymore. For what its worth, most of the anime I've experienced is childish and horrible, but thats probably just overly commercial money grab stuff.

Fine, enough anime hatred. Like I said before, I hate most anime, but everyone should watch the first episode of Death Note. It's a good enough series that I cream my pants when new episodes get translated. I'd give the basic premise, but every time I've heard someone try, it always sounds less than impressive, so I'll just say to watch the first episode.

And yeah, a lot of the 'anime' anymore is overly commericalized crap handed to us. I could go on, but won't :). I don't watch a vast majority of the new anime (well... new being an odd term. New to [i]America[/i] I should say), but there's quite a bit of it that I love watching.
