I read a few days ago some idiot was waiting for me to start up a new campaign. I laughed, "Yeah, right. Like I'm gonna DM online again..."

Oops.

I turned the idea over in my brain for a while, chewed on it, spit it out, stuck it under the chair, and pulled it off and started chewing on it again the next day. Mmm, still fruity!

So, in other words, here I am. I'm considering starting a new game up, based in my IRL campaign world (but set slightly in the past, so any knowledge of said IRL campaign will be essentially useless). This means the game should have a good amount of backstory, and hopefully be fairly immersive.

I've not decided the starting level of the campaign yet, but it should last for about 10 or so levels.

I first want to find out who wants to and can play, and what days work for them. My schedule is thus (all times in CST):

Mon: 5pm - 11pm
Tue: 5pm - 11pm
Wed: 5pm - 11pm
Thur: n/a all day
Fri: 5pm - 11pm
Sat: n/a all day
Sun: 10am - 11pm

If none of these times work for you, please do not post. Sorry.

If interest is sufficient, I'll post more information. Thanks for looking!

Saber's Return?

Friday or Sunday work for me.

"Zey goggles! Zey do nutzing!" - Saber, as Arnie

Saber's Return?

Hell. Yes.

All of those days and times work, except that I might be a bit late for Mondays and Wednesdays at 5. Wouldn't be more than half an hour in either case.
I read a few days ago some idiot was waiting for me to start up a new campaign.
This comment made me wonder who the "idiot" was (I was like "Was it me?") so I checked and it looks like it was Melubb. I should have known. :D

Saber's Return?

I have this sudden urge to return and play. CRAZY isn't it?! Friday and Sat. would work best for me these days, I'd have to find and set up opnp again. I was just thinking its past time I hopped on the old nostalgia train and came to visit. I promise it won't be too emotional O_o I just remember CotV and all the good times to be had with my swashbuckler Will and Co.

Lord of Castle Black and host of the never-ending party. Collects Morganti weapons and illegal books. Likes Eastern brandy, his sword Blackwand, and going on killing sprees.

Saber's Return?

I'm glad to see you guys interested. I'd like to have two more people, as I think we all know what happens once a game starts; people inevitably drop off into the abyss, never to be heard from again.

And, oddly, that wasn't a jab at Striker! =P

Saber's Return?
Year 1736:
Thanks to human folly, a powerful ritual meant to protect the world was unable to be completed some thirty years past. Now, the known world is being overrun with dragonmen, demonic portals appear seemingly out of thin air as abyssal fiends rush forth to attack holy men and prophets, and the free people's chances are running thin as an unseen force masterminds the downward spiral into destruction...

However, that isn't your problem, now is it?

Year 1708:
It was no surprise to anyone up to date in worldly affairs when full-scale war broke out between the Alonian Kingdom and the Sovereignty of Nohskael. After all, the two countries had minor conflicts and skirmishes often in the past. It was also no surprise when the other nearby sovereignties honored their alliance and joined the war in Nohskael's defence. What surprised everyone was the ferocity and speed that the Alonians brought to the war.

The specialized mercenary armies of Lennault were quickly overrun, and it wasn't long until much of Lennault was under Alonian control. With their neighbors to the south all but out of the war, the mountainous lands of Nohskael threated to fall next to the might of the Alonian armies. Worse, reports from the battlefields indicate that the Alonians had untold amounts of magical support. One soldier was so bold as to claim every Alonian was capable of magic...
It's early in the year 1708. The trees are just starting to get their leaves back, and the crisp, mountain air still gives a refreshing chill to your lungs in the morning. Frequent rains keep the ground moist, encouraging new life to grow. Unfortunately, Sovereign casualties continue to mount as the war rages onward.

How have the Alonians pushed so far so fast? Are the battlefield reports accurate, and if so, where have the Alonians gained this unnatural talent? Can the Alonians be stopped?

That would own. I uh..have sorta forgot most of the rules though. I need to be sorta retrained. Any special limits /character level on this campaign? Btw, its good to hear from so many people after so long an absence. If only we didnt have to type out everything!

Lord of Castle Black and host of the never-ending party. Collects Morganti weapons and illegal books. Likes Eastern brandy, his sword Blackwand, and going on killing sprees.

Saber's Return?

Yeah, looks like we'll set this up for a Friday game. Character generation details to follow soon. There's a lot of custom stuff for this campaign, including regional races and house rules that I need to get to you guys. Expect said information in the next day or two.

Here's an example of what I mean as far as 'regional races':

Humans:
There are numerous nationalities of humans in the region, and since the local Sovereignties have been at peace for many ages, travel among the regions is common. Even still, a human from one sovereignty often is slightly different than one another.

Human, Antisian - As standard PHB human, except for the following:
- No Bonus Feat.
- Weapon Proficiency: Antisians receive the Weapon Proficiency feats for the shortspear, spear, longspear, javelin, short sword, and ranseur as bonus feats.
- Gains Weapon Focus as a bonus feat. This feat can be applied to any one of the following weapons: shortspear, spear, longspear, javelin, short sword, or ranseur.
- All Knowledge skills are always considered class skills.
- Automatic Languages: Common and Antese*. Bonus Languages: Any.
- Favored Class: Fighter.
The Empire of Antius is well-known for its exceptional warriors, especially the Imperial Soldiers. To become an Imperial Soldier, one must go through 2 years worth of training, and receive extensive education in a particular field of their choice. These highly-trained warriors are held in great esteem, and are treated as upper class citizens in Antius, often owning many slaves. (Antius is the only sovereignty that fully believes in slavery. It exists elsewhere, but is usually frowned upon.)

Human, Lazelund - As standard PHB human, except for the following:
- No bonus skills.
- Handle Animal and Survival are always considered class skills.
- Gains 4 ranks in the Survival skill at 1st level, and 1 additional rank at each level thereafter.
- Automatic Languages: Common and Lazelund*. Bonus Languages: Any.
- Favored Class: Barbarian.
Lazelund, also known as "the beastlands", is a wild territory and home to numerous tribes of humanoids. Lazelund isn't considered a sovereignty, as it has no ruling body, and as such has no alliance with the other local sovereignties. For this reason, the current war has left the beastlands largely untouched. "Lazels", as they're often referred to (usually in a derogitory tone), are nomadic and rely on hunting and gathering for survival. All humans from Lazelund learn how to survive in the wild at a very young age.

- Favored Class: Fighter.

- Handle Animal and Survival are always considered class skills.
- Gains 4 ranks in the Survival skill at 1st level, and 1 additional rank at each level thereafter.
- Automatic Languages: Common and Lazelund. Bonus Languages: Any. Lazelunds are able to read and write Lazelund.
- Favored Class: Ranger.
Lazelund, also known as "the beastlands", is a wild territory and home to numerous tribes of humanoids. Lazelund isn't considered a sovereignty, as it has no significant ruling body, and as such has no alliance with the other local sovereignties. For this reason, the current war has left the beastlands largely untouched. "Lazels", as they're often referred to (usually in a derogitory tone), are nomadic and rely on hunting and gathering for survival. All humans from Lazelund learn how to survive in the wild at a very young age.

Human, Lennite - As standard PHB human, except for the following:
- Automatic Languages: Common and Lenn. Bonus Languages: Any. Lennites are able to read and write Lenn.
The Lennaul Kingdom is so named after the ruling family for the past century, the Lennaults. Lord Regibald Lennault the III currently rules over the small country. He is considered a kind and gentle ruler, and has allowed his citizens much freedom in living their lives however they wish. He never believed in a large standing army, and has relied an a network of mercenary bands to take care of any problems that arose in his kingdom. Sadly, when the Alonians attacked, these mercenaries either fled or were too spread apart to defend his country, and thus he has been holed up in the capital city for the past two months.

Human, Maldeco - As standard PHB human, except for the following:
- No bonus feat.
- Heat Endurance: Maldeco gain a +4 racial bonus to Fortitude saves made to resist the effects of hot weather. In addition, they gain a +2 racial bonus to saves against fire spells and effects.
- No bonus skills.
- +2 racial bonus on Bluff, Diplomacy, and Sense Motive checks.
- Spell-Like Abilities: 1/day - Read Magic. A Maldeco with an Intelligence score of at least 10 also has the following spell-like abilities: 1/day - Detect Magic, Know Direction, Light. Caster level 1st, save DC 10 + Int modifier + spell level.
- Automatic Languages: Common and Maldeco. Bonus Languages: Any. Maldeco are able to read and write Maldeco.
Ruled by the young Queen Naleetia, the Maldecone Kingdom is primarily desert, with its capital city Tekuna located on the edge of the Mekkan Sea. Tekuna, with its rich flood plains and sea access, is the trade hub of the civilized world. During the day, Tekuna's markets are filled with traders and their wagons, all hawking their wares. At night, slavers sell their stock while the local guard turns a blind eye to their business, as well as other certain 'black market' activities. Aside from its trade, Maldecone is famous for their mages. Numerous colleges exist throughout Maldecone, producing some of the world's most talented spellcasters. Maldecone is easily the most 'magically advanced' sovereignty in the alliance.

Human, Nohskae - As standard PHB human, except for the following:
- No Bonus Feat.
- Cold Endurance: Nohskae gain a +4 racial bonus to Fortitude saves made to resist the effects of cold weather and exposure. In addition, they gain a +2 racial bonus to saves against cold spells and effects.
- +2 racial bonus on any one Craft skill (chosen by the character at the time of creation). This Craft skill is always considered a class skill.
- Automatic Languages: Common and Kaen. Bonus Languages: Any. Nohskae are able to read and write Kaen.
- Favored Class: Master.
The majority of Nohskael is rough and mountainous terrain, home to a short growing season followed quickly by a typically long and bitter winter. This environment discourages trade, and as such, most Nohskae are excellent craftsmen. The leader of Nohskael is Kaiser Vernyoth, a powerfully-built warrior who became Kaiser through strength, not nobility. Even though his strength gained his status initially, his commanding voice and moving orations have gained him the love and support of many Nohskae.

Neander:
Neander are large, brutish folk, similar to humans in appearance and shape. They look far more feral, however, as their lives are harsh, always needing to defend themselves against some threat or another. They tend to live high in the mountains, and as such there are many tribes located within Nohskael. Some of these tribes are situated close to small, human villages, and members of these tribes will occasionally visit to trade for luxuries, such as metal tools (and weapons), thick cloths, and complex foods, such as bread, cheese, and alcohol.
Neander, once their trust has been gained, tend to be loyal unto death to their friend. Unfortunately, Neander vocal cords are unable to produce anything more than simple grunts and growls, and thus are unable to speak any language other than their own. However, they can understand any language they know, and are fully capable of learning to read and write.

Neander
- +4 Strength, -2 Dexterity, -2 Intelligence, -2 Charisma.
- Medium-size.
- Speed: 30 ft.
- Neander gain Endurance as a bonus feat.
- Natural Armor: Neander have exceptionally thick skin, which gives them a +1 natural armor bonus to AC.
- +2 racial bonus to Intimidate checks.
- Neander may take the Scent special quality as a feat.
- Automatic Languages: Common and Neanderthal. Bonus Languages: Argaen Elven, Giant, Goblin, Kaen, Lenn, and Orcish. Neander can only speak Neanderthal; they can learn other languages, and can also learn to read and write any language they understand, but cannot speak any language other than Neanderthal.
- Favored Class: Barbarian.

Elves:
There are two main groups of elves in the region, the Tollani Elves to the southeast of Lennaul, and the Argaen Elves that live in the lowlands of Nohskael.

Elf, Tollani - As standard PHB elf, except for the following:
- Automatic Languages: Common and Tollani Elven*. Bonus Languages: Any. Tollani Elves are able to read and write Tollani Elven. *Anyone that can understand Elven can understand Tollani Elven; however, Tollani Elven uses its own unique alphabet, so one must be able to read and write Tollani Elven separate from other Elven languages.
- Favored Class: Scout.
Tollani is ruled by a number of powerful houses, each always contesting with the other for power. It is partially due to this infighting that Tollani fell so quickly to the Alonian invaders. The elven nation is currently occupied by Alonian forces, rumored to be led by a powerful sorcererous commander. No one is allowed to leave the elven nation; however, a secretive underground resistance movement has successfully transported a small number of families out of Tollani to freedom.

Elf, Argaen - As standard PHB elf, except for the following:
- +2 Dexterity, -2 Intelligence. These adjustments replace the standard PHB elf's ability score adjustments.
- Automatic Languages: Common and Argaen Elven*. Bonus Languages: Any. Argaen Elves are able to read and write Argaen Elven. *Anyone that can understand Elven can understand Argaen Elven; however, Argaen Elven uses its own unique alphabet, so one must be able to read and write Argaen Elven separate from other Elven languages.
- Favored Class: Sorcerer.
The elves of Argaea once ruled most of the land now controlled by the sovereignties. However, through a complex series of treaties and alliances, as well as numerous bloody conflicts, the Argaen Dynasty is no more. The shattered people of the once glorious Argaea have since taken refuge in the forests in the lowlands of Nohskael. A terrible affliction has been silently killing the Argaen legacy; since the downfall of their mighty empire, Argaen fertility has all be disappeared. Only a handful Argaens are born each year, and only a small number of those live through their infancy, the others dying silently in their cribs during the night.

Half-Elves:
Half-Elves have all of the same game statistics, regardless of the nationalities of the human and elven parents.

Half-Elf - As standard PHB half-elf, except for the following:
- Automatic Languages: Common, one elven language, and one human language. Bonus Languages: Any.

There is still quite a bit of typing to go; there are some changes to skills, feats, equipment, and spells I'd like to let you guys know about.

Skills:
The following skills have either changed or have new uses:

Balance (Dex)
Balance can now be used to prevent being tripped. Instead of a Strength or Dexterity check, you can attempt a Balance check. Note that if you successfully use a Dexterity or Balance check to avoid being tripped, you cannot attempt to trip the other person back as a result.

Diplomacy (Cha)
Diplomacy is no longer used to change attitudes, but instead to negotiate deals. See this link for full details:
http://www.giantitp.com/articles/jFppYwv7OUkegKhONNF.html
Also, Sense Motive is the only skill that grants synergy to Diplomacy, not Bluff as mentioned in the article.

Intimidate (Cha)
When trying to intimidate a victim to get information from them, if physical harm is done to them with the direct intention of getting them to talk, the next Intimidate check gains a bonus equal to the Strength modifier of the person who dealt the physical harm.
Example:
Bruno, a captain of a small squad of Antisian soldiers approaches an Alonian prisoner. Bruno demands that the prisoner tell him where his leader is hiding in the small village ahead, or else he'll have Baramos break his arm. Baramos steps forward and shows a club, lending credibility to Bruno's threat. (Bruno rolls an Intimidate check, with Baramos attempting to Aid Another.) The prisoner cries out that he knows nothing, and that he's just a lowly recruit. Bruno's keen eye for detail doesn't believe the prisoner, and orders Baramos to break the man's arm. Baramos, a rather strong fellow, manages the task easily. The man screams in pain as his forearm shatters. Baramos moves to break the man's other arm, but Bruno holds him back. Bruno asks the man again for information, this time promising that he won't hold Baramos back if he doesn't get what he wants. (Now Bruno rolls another Intimidate check, this time with a bonus equal to Baramos's Strength modifier. Baramos again attempts to Aid Another.) This time the prisoner cracks, revealing his leader's hideout.
Knowledge (Int)
Knowledge skills are made much more worthwhile, as they can answer questions and recall useful bits of information, they can be used to identify monsters and potential weaknesses, and they can also now be used to gain small bonuses in combat. See this link for full details:
http://www.giantitp.com/articles/paBcfg1YaEccDMQACfu.html
Note, Knowledge (nobility) no longer grants synergy to Diplomacy. This is offset by being likely the easiest knowledge skill to tie to a bonus.

Spellcraft (Int)
Spellcraft can be used to identify magical items. A DC 25 + caster level of the item instantly identifies the item. Use of this ability takes 10 minutes, cannot be attempted a second time until your skill rank improves, and you cannot take a 20 on this check.

Use Magic Device (Cha or Int)
Use Magic Device can now use Charisma or Intelligence as its key ability modifier, whichever is higher. (It has never made sense to me that Cha was the ability modifier.)

Feats:
Many feats from other WotC sourcebooks are available. Ask me about any feat you're considering taking that's not in the PHB or PHB II. The following feats from the PHB have changed:

Deflect Arrows [General]
Prerequisites: Dex 13, Improved Unarmed Strike.
Benefit: You must have at least one hand free (holding nothing) to use this feat. Once per round when you would normally be hit with a ranged weapon, you may deflect it so that you take no damage from it. You must be aware of the attack and not flat-footed. To deflect the attack, you must succeed on a Reflex save with a DC equal to the opponent's attack roll. If you fail, you take damage from the attack as normal.
Attempting to deflect a ranged weapon doesn’t count as an action. Unusually massive ranged weapons and ranged attacks generated by spell effects can’t be deflected.

Dodge [General]
Prerequisite: Dex 13.
Benefit: You receive a +1 dodge bonus to Armor Class.
A condition that makes you lose your Dexterity bonus to Armor Class (if any) also makes you lose dodge bonuses. Also, dodge bonuses stack with each other, unlike most other types of bonuses.
Special: A fighter may select Dodge as one of his fighter bonus feats.

Toughness [General]
Benefit: You gain +1 hit point at every level. This feat's effects are retroactive.
Special: If this feat is taken at 1st level, it grants +3 hit points. No additional hit points are granted by this feat at level up until 4th level, at which point the bonus hit points increase as normal for this feat.

Equipment:
All characters start with 900gp. No one piece of equipment may cost more than 450gp, and no two pieces of equipment together may cost more than 700gp. Potions and other minor magical items are allowed at start. Simply run their purchase by me to confirm.

Characters from Antius start with items made of different metals than those from other regions. All other regions start with items made of worked steel. Note: Characters from Antius can start with items made of worked steel, but they cost 5% more than PHB pricing. Characters from Maldecone can start with bronze armor for the same price as characters from Antius.

Weapons made of mostly metal (swords, primarily) are made of Iron. Iron weighs about the same as steel, and is roughly just as hard, but is brittle and prone to breaking. Weapons made out of Iron have the same hardness as those made of steel, but half the hit points. Iron weapons cost 10% less than PHB pricing.

Armors made mostly of metal are made of Bronze. Bronze weighs more than steel, thus armors made of bronze weigh 10% more than PHB weights. Also, bronze causes less friction than steel. Armors made of bronze have +1 max Dex bonus than PHB listings. Bronze armors cost the same as PHB pricing.

Other miscellaneous notes:
Cure spells ease pain, but they do not patch wounds. For example, if someone gets an arrow shot through their neck or breaks their arm, a Cure Light Wounds spell isn't going to make everything all better. These sorts of injuries will either require time and a character with the heal skill, or more advanced healing magic (Heal or Regeneration). Cure spells still heal hit point damage normally, however.

All characters get the use of 3 Action Points per level. These AP do not accumulate at each level; when a new level is gained, three new AP are as well. Unspent AP are lost. For more information regarding Action Points and their uses, see the Eberron Campaign Setting.

A common dice game in this region is called "Squad, Standard, Commander". To play, 5 dice and at least 2 players are needed.
Squad, Standard, Commander:
- To start, everyone playing throws a coin into the pot. All coins must be of the same denomination.
- The first player tosses the five dice. First, if any sixes appear, one is set to the side. That's the 'commander'. Next, if there are any fives, one of those is set to the side. That's the 'standard'. Lastly, if there are any fours, one of those is set to the side. That's the 'squad'.
- Without a commander, there cannot be a standard nor a squad. Also, one cannot have a squad without a standard. Thus, you must have a 6 before you can set aside a 5, and you need a 5 before you can set aside a 4.
- Once you have all three, you're ready for battle. The remaining two dice are your 'troops'.
- The first person gets up to 3 attempts to ready for battle. Any dice they set aside stay set aside for the next toss. If they manage to ready in less than 3 tosses, they can hold their troops 'all battle', or they can toss again (to try for a larger 'troop'). Then, the other players must ready for battle in the number of tosses the first player did.
- After all players have gone, the player with the highest troop wins all of the coins in the pot, and a new round is played, with the person who won last round starting.
- If there is a tie for highest troop, all players tie. Thus, everyone throws another coin into the pot, and another round is played, with the person who tossed the dice last starting.
- Variations and add-on rules to this game exist.
Example:
Two players toss a gold coin into the center.
Player 1 rolls a 6, 6, 4, 3, and a 1. He sets one of the 6s aside, and rolls the remaining 4 again. The 2nd time he gets 5, 5, 4, 2. He's got the 5 and the 4 he needed, so he's ready for battle in only two tosses! He sticks with his troop of 7, and passes the dice to the next player.
Player 2 rolls 5, 5, 5, 4, 2. He doesn't get any 6s, so he rolls all of the dice again. This time, he gets a 6, 6, 5, 3, 3. He would normally set a 6 and the 5 to the side, and roll again, but Player 1 got his troop in only two tosses, so Player 2 loses and Player 1 gets the gold and starts the next round.

Just to clarify, what does this mean?

"Don't let history... happen to you."

Saber's Return?

Honestly, not a whole lot. It's just advance notice that, if you see a guy with his stomach cut open with his intestines falling out, you're not gonna be able to save his life with one or two cure light wounds spells. I'm not gonna say "Well, Acid, the archer attacks you. He hits, and his arrow lodges itself into your eye. You take 7 damage and you're blind. gg uninstall." It's pretty much reserved for use as a story device.

Essentially, I'm avoiding the potential "but the book says it heals all kinds of damage..." arguement when I bring a dying or severely wounded character to the scene. After all, what sounds more exciting? Dragging a wounded comrade back to camp to the medics, fighting off attackers the whole way, or simply casting two spells and sending him back on his own?

Saber's Return?

I was kind of hoping to start this upcoming Friday, the 19th... But I doubt that's gonna happen unless I start hearing some character pitches. :(

What's the hold up with character creation? Does anyone have any questions for me?

Saber's Return?

Acido and/or Karlth- have you guys decided what you're going with yet? (I'd just like to know if you have so that I don't intrude on anyone's role.)
What's the hold up with character creation? Does anyone have any questions for me?
I had intended to work on it this weekend but family issues (my grandfather having a stroke) and school issues (4 fucking projects) screwed up my plans.

All of the school shit is due on Wednesday and after that it's all clear for a few days so I will definitely be able to make a character Wednesday night. I can pitch you ideas before then, but not much more. Sorry. :(

We'll likely be using a similar software called "Dungeons & Dragons Chat", made by a group called Tri-Axe. I'll link to it when it gets closer to that time.

Saber's Return?

It's going to be impossible for me to finish my character until Friday after 3:00pm CT because I have a zany amount of midterms, but if I'm the last one to submit (and it looks like I will be) then I'll get it done in time for Saber to look at it and for us to start Friday.

Preliminarily, I was looking to be a front-line fighter either focused on speed or on armor. Probably human or half-elf.

"Don't let history... happen to you."

Saber's Return?

So far, I've only received one completed character sheet. It's from a friend IRL, and he's playing an Antisian Knight. He's a capable front-line fighter, heavily focused on defense. Great AC and HP, with decent damage-dealing ability.

With Arch's Necro and Karlth's Bard, the 'Arcane' portion of the group is secured. The party could definately use a little more 'Expert', and there's a severe lack of 'Divine'. One secondary 'Warrior' type mixed with 'Expert' would be good, as well as one decidedly 'Divine' character would round out the party rather nicely.

Knight
Necro
Bard
??? (Archer/Duelist/Ranger/Factorum/Dragon Shaman/Marshal would all be good fits)
??? (Cleric/Druid/Paladin/Sage would all be good fits)

Saber's Return?

I suppose I'll go divine. In case I play a cleric, is there anything about the pantheon I should know? (also are the gods like they were in CotV? )

I'm guessing you haven't heard from Morro at all?

Saber's Return?

There are a few additional gods, all depending on what region you are from. Lennaul has the standard D&D pantheon, as does Lazelund, but Noskael, Antius, and Maldecone all have additional gods (based loosely off the norse, greek/roman, and egyptian pantheons, respectively).

And no, nothing from Morro. AWOL

I could bring in another IRL friend. Any objections?

Saber's Return?

I am in, if you will have me. Looks like I will have to actually start checking these forums again.

I shall fill whichever position you would put me in, at this point it looks like secondary combat/expert. I'm going to go ahead and look through what you have listed and make a few decisions.

As for playable times, nearly any of your posted times work with me.

Saber's Return?

Yes, I saw this as well, but just in case we were to *cough* play more then once a week.

I think I may be coming down with a cold.

Anyway, I may have to look into classes a bit more. Most of the suggest classes Saber put I have very little information on. I shall look more into it after work.

EDIT: When the fuck did I make this my sig? I don't even remember this conversation. It reminds me of this though.

Saber's Return?

'Bout fucking time you showed up. It's your dumb fault I'm DMing again. :P

Welcome aboard.

EDIT: Striker, the elven gods are largely unchanged. They can also worship regional gods, if they so desire. It so happens that Argaen Elves aren't terribly pious. They (understandably so) tend to believe the gods have forsaken them, and thus produce very few clerics/paladins.
