Moogle Racial Traits:
  • +2 Charisma, -2 Strength.
  • Small: As a Small creature, a moogle gains a +1 size bonus to Armor Class, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus on Hide checks, but she uses smaller weapons than humans use, and her lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of a Medium character.
  • Moogle base land speed is 20 feet.
  • +2 racial bonus on Perform (Dancing) and Tumble checks.
  • +1 racial bonus on all saving throws.
  • Fly: Thanks to her little wings, a moogle is capable of limited flight at the cost of a little of her energy. For 1 vitality point per round, a moogle can fly at her base speed (good maneuverability) as a full-round action for a number of rounds equal to her Constitution score, but after that, she must make a Constitution check (DC 10) to continue flying. She must make the check again each round in which she continues to fly, and the DC increases by 1 for each check she has made. When she fails this check, she must stop flying (which means falling the whole way). A moogle who has flown her limit must rest for 1 minute (10 rounds) during which she can move no faster than base speed. She can fly again after 10 minutes have passed. A moogle without any vitality points left cannot fly higher than 3 feet off the ground and cannot do so for more than a single round per hour.
  • Automatic Languages: Common and Kupo. Bonus Languages: Any (other than secret languages, such as Druidic).
  • Favored Class: Sorcerer. A multiclass moogle’s sorcerer class does not count when determining whether she takes an experience point penalty for multiclassing.
